Reportedly, Namco's Ridge Racer game will appear on Dreamcast. This is still a rumour, however neither Sega nor Namco have yet commented on this. On the same note, more rumours have surfaced about a Metal Gear Solid Dreamcast game, but it hasn't been confirmed.

Sega has recently posted a loss of about 45 billion yen, which comes out to about $380 million. That's a lot of money. About 10% of their force has been laid off, some parks are closing, and salaries were cut. However, Dreamcast is far from a failure. Sega is looking pretty good now, with over 1 million Dreamcast systems sold to date, and some lots of pre-orders already in the States.

Recently, Iomega announced that they would bring their popular Zip drive to Dreamcast. Yes, the rumours started long ago are true, and with 100 megs of space, users can save lots of e-mail, web-pages, or possibly even extra levels and tracks for Dreamcast games. There is no word yet on Iomega bringing the 250 meg version of the Zip drive.

The latest piece of Sonic Adventure merchandise to hit Japan this month, is indeed, Sonic Adventure glasses. They feature all the characters, including Dr. Eggman and a Chao. Unfortantly I haven't seen any plans from importers to sell them out side of Japan yet.

Big Price Ruduction On Sega Dreamcast, Previously "£250" now "£199" and expect it to keep falling. Wow Well who cares about spending an extra £50 on a top piece of kit especially when probably after 3 months it will probably fall to £99, now that would be progress. (Our Advice: Keep a look out for the falling prices even if it means waiting about 3 Months. GOOD LUCK).
